
Aside from the Indy 500, Indiana is best known for its vast farm land and dense forests. Wall Street Companies and out-of-state billionaires and don’t see the generations of blood, sweat, and tears that water the fields; they see dollar signs.
Can’t hunt on a paved field;
Can’t fish in a poisoned river

This will give the state time to do proper research into the supporting needs and potential impacts, and make appropriate restrictions. The current free-for-all is hurting rural communities, and causing irreparable damage to ecosystems across the state.
No public lands for private profit
I want a constitutional amendment that would require a public referendum before the state is allowed to sell public lands or lease public park lands for mineral mining.
I want to make it harder for big business to exploit Hoosier farmers. Whether that’s Bill Gates and China trying to buy land, or Monsanto and Tyson squeezing farms on both ends of their budgets.
